    Patrick & Anitra

    Owners

Patrick began working at Kramer’s over 25 years ago while studying at the University of Cincinnati. A friend told him the store was hiring, and he quickly became part of the team. After years of hard work, he became the owner nearly ten years ago.

Anitra discovered sewing after high school and fell in love with it. She moved to Cincinnati, began selling handmade clothes, and became a regular customer at Kramer’s. That connection led to a job, and she has now been with the store for over 20 years. She and Patrick, now married, co-own the business together.

Today, Patrick and Anitra are proud to lead Kramer’s with a focus on service, creativity, and community. They’re grateful for the continued support and look forward to many more years of helping people sew and create.

    Erin

    Manager

I have been with Kramer's for nearly five years, starting when many were sewing masks during the pandemic. You can usually find me hanging out around the front of the store, assisting customers, counting inventory, rearranging displays, and enjoying the creativity of our customers and teachers. Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, two sons, and our puggle, Bug.

    Lynn

BERNINA Mastery and Creative Sewing Projects teacher

My love for sewing and teaching has led to a unique opportunity at Kramer’s. I have been a BERNINA Mastery and Creative Sewing Projects teacher for three years. It is very rewarding when my students become confident in using their BERNINAs and new sewing techniques.

Kimberbell & Bernina Overlock and Embroidery Mastery

I began at Kramers in 1991 when I brought in my sewing machine for repair. Sydney offered me a teaching position after learning I was a Home Economics teacher. I've since sold products, taught various machine classes, and made many friends. Now, I teach Kimberbell classes, private sessions, and Bernina Overlock and Embroidery Mastery Classes.

    Tina

    Brother Sewing and Embroidery

I've been with Kramers for nearly 3 years, representing Brother Sewing and Embroidery machines. When you buy a new Brother machine, I offer a few hours of instruction. I also host technique and creative classes, and recently started an embroidery club called The Madbroiderers. I look forward to meeting more customers and sharing the joy of sewing and embroidery.

  • Errica

    Teacher

I have been with Kramer's Sew and Vac since 2003. I enjoy teaching multi-needle embroidery, digitizing with software, and creating with the Brother Scan-N-Cut digital cutter. My passion is helping our customers design one-of-a-kind projects for their family and friends.

  • Cheri

    Quilter, Embroidery/serger educator

I’ve been sewing and quilting for about 45 years. I love every aspect of quilting, from cutting pattern pieces to quilting the quilt. I’ve taught a variety of classes over the years, but far prefer quilting classes since that is my specialty! I love being in the business because I love the quilting community. The number of friendships I have made over the years has been a gift. The quilting world is overflowing with talent, generosity, and kindness. It's also a very special group that is willing to share advice, ideas, and experience!.

I work in public health, but I love bringing joy to the world through my colorful menswear creations. I'm a Know Me pattern designer, a BERNINA ambassador, and a sewing educator. When I'm not at my machine, I enjoy connecting with others in the sewing community, especially through my Facebook group, Sew “Manly.”Description goes here

    Sales

I made my first quilt in 2012 while helping at a friend’s sewing shop in Oakley. My second was a gift for my nephew in the Air Force, and my third placed in the top 10 of a national contest. That experience sparked my passion for sewing.

I began making children's clothes with a quilt and dress for a friend’s daughter. As she grew, so did my skills. Later, I started sewing for my friend Julie’s nephew and began focusing on boys’ garments. Some of my pieces have been featured on Shop Made in Cincinnati.

I’ve been part of the sales team at Kramer’s for nearly three years. Outside of sewing, I enjoy traveling, baking, crossword puzzles, and caring for my many pets.

    Tracy

I was a long-time customer at Kramer’s before joining the team. I worked here briefly two years ago and recently returned after the store reopened.

These days, I love making doll clothes from thrifted items to upcycle into something new.

My favorite sewing tool is the rolled hem foot. I always remind myself to enjoy the process and never sew when tired. Thrift stores are a great place to find fun, affordable materials to get creative with.
