Creative Top Cover Stitch and Chain & Cover Stitch Options
Once again, Baby Lock sets the standard and revolutionizes your sewing experience! The Applaud’s Creative Top Cover Stitch has expanded both functional and creative opportunities when using the Cover and Chain Stitches.
Dual Wiper System for the Creative Top Cover Stitch
Watch the Applaud’s dual wiper system deliver thread back and forth in front of the needles and over the fabric surface to create the Creative Top Cover Stitch. Choose to thread both wipers or only one wiper for the selected stitch. For a functional look use an overlock thread in either both wipers or one wiper. For a custom look, place a decorative thread in either both wipers or only one wiper
Needle Up/Down Function
Whether using the Needle Up/Down key to advance forward in the fabric, start on fabric, form a single or partial stitch, or program the needle(s) to stop in the down or up position this feature allows you precise positioning of the needle(s) at all times during a project.
Automatic Thread Delivery (ATD)
With the ATD system on the Applaud, the exact amount of thread is delivered for the Chain or Cover Stitch variations regardless of thread type or stitch length.
Adjustable Presser Foot Height and Drop Feed System
The Drop Feed System is a must when working with delicate and high-loft fabrics. Simply raise the presser foot, and the feed dogs lower automatically making it easy to position your fabric under the presser foot. Using the Presser Foot Pressure Dial, adjust the presser foot pressure higher or lower for a fabric type or creative technique and return to standard position with ease.
